BluSmart, an electric mobility startup, has launched a new app called “BluSmart Charge” for users in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru.

Available on both Android and iOS platforms, the app is designed to help EV users, including both fleet operators and individuals, locate nearby charging stations.

The app provides detailed information such as the distance to the nearest station, the availability of AC and DC connectors suitable for different vehicles, and real-time updates on the number of available stations.

Additionally, it streamlines the payment process, making it convenient for users to access charging services on the go.

Founded in 2019 by Anmol Jaggi and Punit K. Goyal, BluSmart offers EV ride-hailing services and charging infrastructure across major Indian cities including Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru.

The company competes with other startups like Lithium, eee-Taxi, and Snap-E Cabs, as well as established ride-hailing giants like Ola and Uber.

BluSmart aims to expand its charging infrastructure by building large-scale EV charging superhubs, thereby supporting the broader adoption of electric vehicles and enhancing the convenience of charging access.

Tushar Garg, cofounder and chief executive of BluSmart, highlighted the company’s role in India’s e-mobility transition.

He emphasized that BluSmart’s extensive network of established infrastructure and well-equipped charging hubs will significantly contribute to the rapid adoption of electric vehicles.

As part of its growth strategy, BluSmart plans to increase its fleet size from the current 5,500 EVs to 8,000 by next year.
