Zomato Launches ‘Zomato for Enterprise’ to Ease Corporate Food Expense Management

Zomato Launches 'Zomato for Enterprise' to Ease Corporate Food Expense Management

Zomato, one of India’s leading foodtech companies, has launched a new platform called ‘Zomato for Enterprise‘ (ZFE) aimed at simplifying the management of food expenses for corporate clients.

The announcement was made by Deepinder Goyal, the founder and CEO of Zomato, on social media platform X earlier today.

ZFE is designed to streamline the often cumbersome and time consuming reimbursement process that corporate employees face when placing business related food orders.

Traditionally, employees would need to pay for their meals upfront and then go through a lengthy process to get reimbursed by their employers.

With ZFE, employees can now directly bill their orders to their employer, eliminating the need for upfront payments.

The platform offers a suite of features tailored for corporate needs.

Companies can add employees to their ZFE accounts, set individual or departmental budgets, and define specific ordering rules.

This ensures that businesses can maintain control and transparency over food related expenses while offering convenience to their staff.

“Over 100 top companies are already using ZFE, and we are grateful for their feedback, which has helped shape this initiative,” Deepinder Goyal shared on X.

He encouraged more corporate leaders to adopt the platform, inviting them to get started by reaching out to Zomato via [email protected].

ZFE is accessible through the Zomato app, with dedicated options for both employees and employers.

Employees can verify their work IDs to start using the feature, while employers can manage the system by verifying their company’s email ID and name.

The launch of ZFE is part of Zomato’s broader strategy to diversify its offerings and explore new verticals.

In recent weeks, the company has introduced several new features, including a group order function and the ability to schedule food orders up to two days in advance.

Additionally, Zomato has ventured into the live events space with its upcoming “Book Now, Sell Anytime” feature, allowing users to resell tickets purchased through the Zomato app.

Despite these innovations, Zomato’s history of experiments has seen mixed results.

The company recently discontinued its ‘Zomato Legends’ business after two years of struggling to achieve product-market fit.

However, the launch of ZFE marks a significant step in Zomato’s ongoing efforts to cater to the evolving needs of its users and corporate clients alike.
