Zomato, one of India’s leading food delivery platforms, has introduced an innovative new feature that allows users to see the live order count for the day as soon as they place an order.
This announcement was made by Zomato’s CEO, Deepinder Goyal, on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
Goyal excitedly shared his personal experience with the feature, along with announcement, “A cool new update for everyone – You can now see the LIVE order count on @zomato for the day, right after you place your order. I just placed an order at around 11am, and the count was already over 250,000.”
Kumar Gaurav, a user on X, responded to Goyal’s post, noting the impressive order volume, “It was about 13 lakhs yesterday at EOD. Mind-blowing adoption. India is literally feeding itself off Zomato.”
Goyal added further excitement by stating even higher numbers: “I saw more than 20 lacs a few minutes before midnight I think. Should verify by placing an order today :P”
This remarkable surge in orders underscores Zomato’s significant impact on India’s food delivery market.
The live order count feature not only enhances user engagement but also demonstrates the massive scale at which Zomato operates.
With this new feature, users can now feel more connected to the platform, seeing firsthand just how many others are using Zomato to satisfy their cravings.
As the feature continues to gain traction, Zomato’s order volumes are expected to rise even further, cementing its role as an essential service for millions of Indians.
