The Pant Project, a leading direct-to-consumer (D2C) bottom wear brand, has announced a successful $4.25 million funding round led by Sorin Investments, an investment fund established by former KKR CEO Sanjay Nayar.
This marks the first significant funding for the company, which has been bootstrapped since its inception in 2020.
The brand has served over 1,00,000 customers, leveraging its strong digital presence to build a loyal customer base across the country.
Founded by brothers Dhruv and Udit Toshniwal, The Pant Project has quickly carved a niche in the Indian fashion market with its high-quality, customizable pants.

Sorin Investments’ partnership is a significant endorsement of The Pant Project’s growth trajectory and market potential.
Sanjay Nayar, along with Mandar Dandekar, Subeer Monga, Anshul Bansal, and Ashima Setia, have expressed their confidence in the company’s vision and strategic direction.
In addition to Sorin Investments, the funding round saw participation from several funds and angel investors, including Huddle Ventures, Dexter Ventures, MGA Ventures, Indian Silicon Valley, and notable individual investors such as Jivraj Singh Sachar, Arjun Vaidya, Avni Biyani, Vijay Taparia, and Nikhil B.
Dexter Capital Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction. Dhruv Toshniwal extended his gratitude to Devendra Agrawal, Varun Bhatia, Jay Kotadia, and their team.

Reflecting on the journey, Dhruv Toshniwal reminisced about his grandfather, a first-generation entrepreneur who inspired the family’s legacy in textiles.
