Swaayatt Robots, led by Founder and CEO Sanjeev Sharma, has successfully raised $4 million as part of a larger funding round involving global investors.
This significant investment, announced by Sanjeev Sharma on LinkedIn, will fuel their efforts to tackle the hardest challenges in autonomous general navigation.
Sanjeev Sharma emphasized the company’s dedication to addressing the complexities of autonomous general navigation, particularly in environments characterized by complex, stochastic, and adversarial traffic dynamics.
The goal is to develop AI capable of managing nonlinear dynamical systems in continuous domains to ensure safe and cost-effective autonomous driving technology.
Swaayatt Robots has taken on some of the toughest challenges in the autonomous vehicle space, developing advanced AI models and algorithms to tackle issues such as bidirectional traffic negotiation on single-lane roads, multi-agent navigation in dynamic environments, toll-plaza management, high-speed off-road navigation, and LiDAR-less perception for both day and night conditions.
Their achievements include safe, robust and cost-effective autonomous general navigation technology capable of handling both on-road and off-road scenarios simultaneously.
The company’s deep research and development efforts span theoretical computer science, including unsupervised machine learning, reinforcement learning, motion planning, computer vision, deep learning, SLAM, and visual odometry.
These advancements are not only setting new standards in autonomous driving but are also paving the way for innovations in campus autonomous driving, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), driver monitoring systems (DMS), warehouse navigation, and factory floor automation.
Looking ahead, Swaayatt Robots plans to demonstrate their cutting-edge capabilities, including a groundbreaking bidirectional traffic negotiation framework on single-lane roads, allowing for negotiations at relative speeds exceeding 65 KMPH at intersections with other autonomous agents.
This funding will enable Swaayatt Robots to continue pushing the boundaries of AI and autonomous navigation, solidifying their position as leaders in the industry and opening up multiple market verticals with their innovative technology.
