Star Health Insurance Launches Cashless Home Health Care Services Across 50 Cities

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited, India’s leading retail health insurance company, has announced the launch of its Home Health Care services in over 50 cities across India.

This new service aims to deliver personalized healthcare solutions directly to customers’ homes, ensuring seamless and instant claims settlement.

In collaboration with leading providers such as Care24, Portea, CallHealth, Athulya Homecare, and Argala, Star Health Insurance will offer in-home medical care, covering primary and critical care, nursing, elderly care, physiotherapy, infant care, lab diagnostics, and pharmacy services.

Anand Roy, MD & CEO of Star Health Insurance, emphasized the company’s commitment to leveraging technology to meet evolving customer needs. “The launch of Home Health Care services is a testament to our commitment to enhance customer experience through accessible healthcare solutions. Customers can now avail of a 100% cashless home healthcare facility for a range of infectious diseases seamlessly through the Star Health Mobile App,” said Anand Roy.

India’s vast population of over 140 crore and healthcare challenges, such as limited infrastructure and accessibility, underscore the importance of this service.

The Home Health Care services will cater to patients suffering from ailments like fever, acute gastroenteritis, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and acute gastritis.

This initiative promises to be a cost-effective and convenient alternative to traditional hospital care, offering increased comfort and personalized care at home.

To access the 100% cashless Home Health Care facility, customers can call the toll-free number 044-69006900.

The comprehensive service covers all expenses, including professional fees, nursing fees, medicine, and lab tests, ensuring no out-of-pocket costs for patients.

Doctors and medical professionals will be available at short notice, providing easy access to medication, diagnostic tests, and specialized care.

In Tamil Nadu, Star Health Insurance has seen significant growth, with retail premiums exceeding INR 2000 crore and over 12.5 lakh policies sold in FY2024.

The company’s digital transactions account for 63% of its business in the state, with a focus on cashless claims, which made up 88% of claims settled in FY24.

With a strong network of over 90,000 agents, 116 branches, 187 Star Gramin Bima Kendras, and more than 3400 employees in Tamil Nadu, Star Health Insurance continues to expand its reach and provide comprehensive healthcare solutions.
