EaseMyTrip Partners with Hyperface to Enhance Customer Engagement and Launch Co-branded Credit Cards

EaseMyTrip, the prominent online travel aggregator, has announced a strategic partnership with Hyperface, Asia’s first Credit Cards as a Service (CCaaS) platform.

This collaboration aims to drive customer engagement by upgrading EaseMyTrip’s existing card programs and introducing new co-branded credit card offerings.

Under the new deal, Hyperface will assist EaseMyTrip in onboarding new customers and designing hyper-personalized marketing campaigns for its current clientele.

This initiative is expected to enhance the company’s credit and debit card programs, making them more customer-centric and value-driven.

The partnership is also set to improve the overall experience for cardholders, ensuring smoother card management and added convenience.

Rikant Pittie, Co-founder of EaseMyTrip, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited to partner with Hyperface in our mission to deliver the best possible financial products to our customers. This collaboration is a significant step towards enhancing our card programs and ensuring our customers benefit from a seamless, value-added experience.”

EaseMyTrip, which was founded in 2018 by brothers Nishanth, Rikant, and Prashanth Pitti, initially made its mark as an online travel agency.

Over the years, the company has diversified into various sectors, including insurtech and electric bus manufacturing.

The partnership with Hyperface aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its service offerings and boost customer satisfaction.

In addition to its latest foray into credit cards, EaseMyTrip has been making significant strides in other industries. The company launched a new subsidiary, Easy Green Mobility, to enter the electric bus manufacturing market, with plans to operate over 2,000 e-buses across India by 2027-28.

Furthermore, the company is diversifying into medical tourism through its acquisition of stakes in Rollins International and Pflege Home Healthcare Center, and has also ventured into the insurtech space with the launch of EaseMyTrip Insurance Broker.

EaseMyTrip has reported a strong performance in Q1 FY25, returning to profitability with a net profit of INR 33.9 crore on operating revenues of INR 152.6 crore.

The company is also actively working to expand its portfolio, evidenced by its acquisition of a 5% stake in B2B travel portal E-Trav Tech Limited.
