Aurionpro Payment Solutions Receives Final Authorisation from RBI to Operate as Payment Aggregator

Aurionpro Payment Solutions Private Limited (Aurionpro Payments), a subsidiary of Aurionpro Solutions Limited, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving final authorization from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as an Online Payment Aggregator under the Payments Settlements Act, 2007.

The authorization enables Aurionpro Payments to offer its services under its payments brand, AuroPay.

Aurionpro Solutions, a pioneer in technology solutions for the banking, transit, and smart city sectors for over 25 years, views this authorization as a critical step towards fulfilling its long-term goals as a payment service provider.

The RBI’s authorization allows Aurionpro Payments to function as a full-fledged Online Payment Aggregator, facilitating the expansion and reach of digital payments in India.

AuroPay, the payment platform of Aurionpro Payments, aims to simplify payment processing, handling both receivables and payables, and ensuring settlements are conducted in a secure, safe, and compliant environment.

“We are grateful to the RBI for this authorization and look forward to commencing business at the earliest. With our innovative solutions and expertise, we are excited to contribute to India’s digital transformation journey,” said Mr. Balkrishna Pangam, CEO of Aurionpro Payments.

The platform offers a variety of e-payment options that are user-friendly and affordable, catering to e-commerce businesses and SMEs that are rapidly adopting digital technologies.

Aurionpro Solutions Limited, the parent company, is a leading advanced technology solutions provider serving the banking, mobility, payments, and government sectors.

Headquartered in Mumbai, India, Aurionpro Solutions Limited leverages the expertise and commitment of its 2,300+ employees to drive digital transformation across global markets.

The RBI has been actively issuing Payment Aggregator licences recently, approving applications from more than 20 companies in 2024 alone, including prominent names like Groww, Worldline Global, Zoho, Juspay, Decentro, CRED, PayU, and others.
