IndiaAI, an Independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation, has announced the launch of the CyberGuard AI Hackathon as part of its IndiaAI Application Development Initiative (IADI).
This innovative event invites tech enthusiasts, researchers, and entrepreneurs to create AI-driven solutions aimed at enhancing cybersecurity and addressing the rising threat of cybercrime in India.
The CyberGuard AI Hackathon is a collaborative effort between IndiaAI and the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), established by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
This partnership aims to harness the power of artificial intelligence to improve the prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution of cybercriminal activities, ultimately enhancing citizen welfare.
With nearly 6,000 cybercrime cases reported daily through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP), the need for effective AI solutions is more pressing than ever.
Participants in the hackathon will be tasked with developing an NLP model to assist citizens in accurately filing cybercrime reports on the NCRP by analyzing incident descriptions and supporting media files in real-time.
